Ardinghi Sidelined for 9 Months Friday, September 24th, 2032 The Armada received bad news this morning. Baldassario Ardinghi will miss 9 months due to a stretched elbow ligament. He sustained the injury in the Quebec-Georgia game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Ardinghi sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Ardinghi has gone 7-1 this season with an ERA of 2.21 and 62 strikeouts in 57 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .217 against him. |
