Jacks Rook to Miss Year Wednesday, September 22nd, 2032 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Hawaii Islanders, Jacks right fielder Gart Rook was injured making a defensive play and is expected to miss 6 months with a torn labrum. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Jacksonville skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This year Rook is hitting .253 with 22 home runs and 67 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .319 clip and scored 65 runs. |
