José Gallegos Lost for Season Tuesday, September 21st, 2032 It took the Columbus team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever José Gallegos won't simply play through a torn rotator cuff after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Black Knights-Aces game. At first, it looked like Gallegos might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 12 months. To date, Gallegos has collected no saves in 24 relief appearances. He has rung up 69 strikeouts and 34 walks in 67.1 innings while registering a 7.08 ERA and a 2-8 won-lost record. |
