Thurman Munson League Selects Best Performer Monday, September 20th, 2032 All week long nobody could get Akio Ishii out in the Thurman Munson League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Vancouver right fielder took home the trophy by blasting 9 hits in 23 at-bats for a .391 batting average, driving in 6 runs and scoring 8 times.
