Pioneers Ron Verity Injured: Day-to-Day Friday, September 17th, 2032 Ron Verity of the Vancouver Pioneers was hurt in yesterday's game with the Grays. He sustained a twisted ankle while running the bases and will be listed day-to-day. Team doctors said it could be one week before the standout third baseman will be completely healed. He could miss a few games. This year Verity is batting .299 with 134 hits and 22 home runs. He has scored 58 times and has batted in 69 runs. |
