Tasha 5-for-7 for Portland Thursday, September 16th, 2032 Beavers third baseman Anuvaha Tasha had his way with Eureka pitching today at Waterfront Park and mauled them for 5 hits in 7 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Hornets ruined his great day by toppling the Beavers, 8-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Eureka credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Tasha did today," Hornets skipper Stephen Jackson said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Anuvaha Tasha doubled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Pat Sheffield in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 10th, struck out in the 12th, singled in the 15th and walked in the 17th.
