Alim bin Umar Hurt, Out 6 Months Thursday, September 16th, 2032 Alim bin Umar is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Eureka organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 6 months with a torn rotator cuff. The 30-year-old reliever suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Portland Beavers. For the season bin Umar has 6 saves, tossed 40.2 innings, fanned 34 batters and produced an ERA of 2.21. He has also been credited with 2 wins and 2 losses. |
