Park on Fire: Burns New York with 3 HR
Friday, September 10th, 2032
Maple Marauders right fielder Jae-hoon Park had a magnificent game against the New York Mafia today, rocketing three balls out of Legends Park to help the Marauders take the 14-1 victory.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Park went 4-for-5 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Maple manager Jesús Alfaro said later. "Seems like Jae-hoon found his home run stroke today."
Jae-hoon Park singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Lorenzo Soto in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Ross Astbury in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Yefim Merkushin in the 8th.
Park is currently batting .318 with 23 home runs and 66 RBIs.
