Pancholi Put on Shelf, Listed DTD Wednesday, September 8th, 2032 Reports out of Eureka indicate that Ashoka Pancholi, the gifted reliever, might be sidelined for 5 weeks or so with a sprained ankle. The 29-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Pioneers-Hornets game while throwing a pitch. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Ashoka feels later today. If he can play, he will." During this season Pancholi has delivered 36 saves. In 61 relief appearances, he has 87 strikeouts in 60.2 innings with a 1.78 ERA and 2 wins and 4 losses. |
