Kemsley Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games

Denzel Kemsley has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 23-year-old Mile High Mustangs left fielder extended his streak today to 25 games, going 2-for-4 as Mile High got the best of the New York Mafia at Don Corleone Park, 3-2.
"Denzel has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Mustangs manager Joe Ward said. Denzel Kemsley singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th.
Looking at his stats this year, Kemsley has compiled a .339 batting average, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 48 runs. He has played in 128 games and scored 64 runs.
