Bustamante's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Wednesday, September 1st, 2032 The Vancouver Pioneers will have to do without center fielder Edgardo Bustamante even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Bustamante's recovery from a fractured hand has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Pioneers trainer indicated it would be at least 2-3 months before they would consider activating Bustamante. Edgardo Bustamante is expected to undergo surgery in Vancouver(British Columbia) tomorrow. Bustamante is currently batting .325 with 2 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
