RCL Best Hitter Award to So Cal's Gerd Zabel Wednesday, September 1st, 2032 Gerd Zabel said the baseball "looked as big as a beach ball" in August. It's no surprise then that the So Cal right fielder captured the Roberto Clemente League Batter of the Month Award. On the month, he had a .352 batting average, with 12 home runs, 28 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .397 on-base percentage. This year Zabel has 34 home runs and a .274 batting average. |
