Rehab Setback For Vihaan Vedant Thursday, August 26th, 2032 All is not well with Vihaan Vedant in his recovery from a sprained ankle. The 32-year-old Beavers left fielder has already reached some significant steps in his rehabilitation, but his manager said that the team will continue to be cautious with Vedant and take his progression one day at a time, especially after the setback yesterday. "Yesterday he was feeling good but he didn't do a lot on the field," he said. "Today he was supposed to be on the field doing light stuff and then gradually start working right back up. I think he overdid it." A post-workout examination revealed that Vedant had re-injured himself and would now miss at least 3 weeks because of it. Hitting .267 to date, Vedant has 16 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has played in 110 games. |
