Elijah Green of Brooklyn Injured, DTD Sunday, August 15th, 2032 The Brooklyn Black Knights received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place starting pitcher Elijah Green on the disabled list. During yesterday's game against the Jacksonville Jacks, he was injured throwing a pitch. The injury, however, is not serious. The Brooklyn star performer is listed as day-to-day with a sprained ankle. This season-to-date, Green has fashioned a 11-6 mark and 3.68 ERA in 156.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .226 against him and he has logged 150 strikeouts. |
