Altman Hurt, Listed Day-to-Day Wednesday, August 11th, 2032 The Hawaii Islanders said it will be up to starting pitcher Mikey Altman whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Brooklyn Black Knights and could be missing a few games. Altman was hurt while throwing a pitch and sustained a stiff back. Team doctors told him it could up to 2 weeks before he heals completely. Over the season Altman has thrown 115.2 innings and dished out 105 strikeouts with a 7-4 mark and a 3.19 ERA. |
