Henderson Reaches 2000 Milestone

Quebec's Jeffrey Henderson got the standing ovation -- but the Kansas City Tornadoes got the win.
It was a special day for him at Lucky 7 Ballpark. A day when Henderson notched hit #2000 of his career. The fans went wild when he did. Even the Tornadoes fans applauded.
The Armada left fielder went 2-for-4 in a losing cause as Kansas City spoiled the party with the 11-4 victory.
In the postgame interview, a downhearted Henderson told the media, "We lost -- It's not about individual accomplishments -- we lost."
When pressed further, he admitted his pride in reaching the 2000-hit mark, "A lot of great players never get there. I'm proud, but I would be happier if we had won."
During his career Henderson has chalked up 2000 hits and a .323 average with 222 home runs and 999 RBIs.
