Hernández's Strong Week Earns TML Trophy Monday, August 9th, 2032 22-year-old Jorge Hernández sent shock waves through ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Hernández made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .550 average, 11 hits in 20 at-bats, 1 home run and 6 runs batted in. Where the Kansas City Tornadoes catcher goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Hernández certainly made his mark last week. This year Hernández is batting .303 with 115 hits, 9 home runs, 56 RBIs, 20 walks, .352 OBP and has scored 49 runs. |
