Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Andreas Kubel earned July's Rookie of the Month honors in the Thurman Munson League for last month's performance. The boyish Maple left fielder might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Kubel hit .326 with 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 17 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. In 91 games this season Kubel has compiled a .269 batting average with 89 hits and 5 home runs. He has also scored 48 times and knocked in 37 runs. |
