RCL Announces Best Pitcher for July Sunday, August 1st, 2032 Clarence Byrd's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 5-0 in July, the 31-year-old Brooklyn hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 29 in 37 innings, logged an ERA of 1.95 and allowed opponents to hit .212 against him. So far this year Byrd has a 10-5 record with a 2.84 ERA. |
