Danilo Cannavaro of Georgia Injured, DTD Sunday, July 25th, 2032 Reports out of Georgia indicate that Danilo Cannavaro, the gifted right fielder, might be sidelined for 5-6 weeks or so with shoulder tendinitis. The 26-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Islanders-Grays game while making a defensive play. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Danilo feels later today. If he can play, he will." Cannavaro is hitting at a .283 mark this season. His stats show 23 home runs, 71 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has played 98 games for the Grays. |
