Cox Sidelined for 3 Weeks Saturday, July 24th, 2032 Hawaii Islanders starting pitcher Allen Cox left yesterday's game against the Georgia Grays after suffering a rotator cuff strain throwing a pitch. Cox was taken to the clubhouse for examination by team doctors. A team spokesman told BNN today Cox is expected to miss 3 weeks. This year Cox has worked 128.1 innings with 92 strikeouts en route to a 10-2 record and a 2.45 ERA. |
