McCarthy and Faivre Brawl, League Suspends Them Sunday, July 18th, 2032 The league commissioner has issued 4-game suspensions to Todd McCarthy of Brooklyn and John Faivre of Jacksonville. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Black Knights-Jacks game at Blue Ivy Stadium and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. Thus far this season in 78 games McCarthy is batting .253 with 10 home runs, 40 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 296 at-bats. This year Faivre has a 7-7 record with a 4.30 ERA in 19 starts. |
