Blockbuster Trade! Ramos for Hunt Monday, July 12th, 2032 A star-studded deal has been made in the baseball world. The So Cal Republic excitedly announced a trade with the Cabo San Lucas Toreros today that will send 30-year-old RHP Jesús Ramos, 20-year-old minor league RHP Julio Rivera and 19-year-old minor league RHP Ruben Fernandez to Cabo San Lucas in exchange for 28-year-old LHP Lloyd Hunt, 32-year-old RHP Mulia Kathirithamby and $2,000,000 in cash. "It's always nice to complete a deal like this," said Republic general manager Mike Brouillette. "We are very happy with the way this deal came together." To this point in the season he has had 2 saves. Ramos has made 7 relief appearances, tossed 21 innings and struck out 19 with a record of 1 win and no losses. For the year Hunt has 22 saves in 43 relief appearances with a 4-2 mark and 2.72 ERA. |
