Park's Hit Streak Reaches 32 Games
Sunday, July 11th, 2032
Chalk up another one for Maple Marauders right fielder Jae-hoon Park. He now has hit in 32 straight games. Park went 1-for-4 today's game at The Royal Court at Jersey Yards but saw his club defeated 4-1 by the host Vancouver Pioneers.
"Playing on the road always makes it harder to get hits and to get wins," Marauders manager Jesús Alfaro said after the game. "We got one of the two, but unfortunately it was the wrong one." Jae-hoon Park grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
Park is hitting .352 this year with 13 home runs, 41 RBIs and 35 runs scored. He has 82 hits in 233 at-bats, 12 walks and a .388 on-base percentage. Park has played in 54 games.
