Allen Silences Vancouver Friday, June 25th, 2032 Vancouver dropped a 4-0 shutout to Kenny Allen and the New York Mafia at Don Corleone Park today. The Pioneers offered little resistance to Allen, who stopped them on 8 hits, fanned 3 and walked 1. "It just felt right today," the right-handed Allen told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." His stats sheet for the year shows Allen has managed to hold opponents to a .291 average in 20 relief appearances, while putting up 3-7 record with 38 strikeouts and 16 walks in 77 innings.
