Year Over for Pioneers Young Thursday, June 24th, 2032 The Vancouver Pioneers and their fans were rocked today by the news that star left fielder Joe Young would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Young was hurt in a recent game against the Kansas City Tornadoes while making a defensive play. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a torn back muscle. His doctors think that Young will miss about 4-5 months. Young on the season is hitting .288 with 15 home runs. His stats include 46 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
