Robert McLaughlin of Columbus Injured, DTD Thursday, June 24th, 2032 Reports out of Columbus indicate that Robert McLaughlin, the gifted reliever, might be sidelined for 3-4 weeks or so with a strained biceps. The 31-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Hops-Aces game while throwing a pitch. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Robert feels later today. If he can play, he will." To this point in the season, McLaughlin has rung up 1 save in 16 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 2.50 ERA, 1 win and 1 loss and 17 strikeouts in 18 innings. |
