Armada Lose Reyes for Season Saturday, June 5th, 2032 The doctors have spoken and Felipe Reyes of the Quebec Armada didn't like what he heard. The 26-year-old third baseman is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Reyes sustained his season-ending injury during the Kansas City Tornadoes game yesterday at Debris Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while running the bases. Today the Quebec medical staff reported Reyes had a ruptured medial collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 7 months. This year Reyes is batting .360 with 86 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 44 times and has batted in 25 runs. |
