Rodríguez Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, June 2nd, 2032 Jorge Rodríguez's consecutive-game hitting streak has now climbed to 20 games. The San Francisco shortstop smacked 2 hits against the Bloomington Blazers in today's game at Golden Gate Park, but he expressed mixed emotions about the streak after watching the Earthquakes drop the game, 5-4. "I feel good about the streak, but don't feel good when we lose," he told reporters. "I'd love to get a hit as well as a win next time so I can celebrate properly." Jorge Rodríguez grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 9th.
