League Issues 11-Game Suspensions for Brawl
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2032
When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Maple's Andreas Kubel and Vancouver's Tony Velázquez were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office.

They both were suspended for 11 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Kubel charged Velázquez.

Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation.

This year Kubel is hitting .253 with 1 home run.

So far this season Velázquez has a 4-4 record, 11 starts, 69.1 innings, 47 strikeouts and a 3.25 ERA.
