Recovery Slow For Republic Jon Pittman Wednesday, June 2nd, 2032 A frustrated Jon Pittman told reporters today that he would be out an additional 6 days after suffering a relapse in his recovery from an oblique strain. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the So Cal Republic left fielder revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." Thus far in 2032 Pittman is hitting .330 with 1 home run, 17 RBIs, 23 runs scored and has compiled a .369 OBP. |
