Stogies Hurler Named May's Top Starter Tuesday, June 1st, 2032 Joe Hardy's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 4-0 in May, the 30-year-old Havana hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 51 in 40 innings, logged an ERA of 0.68 and allowed opponents to hit .138 against him. In 11 starts this season Hardy has rung up a 8-2 record and a 1.34 ERA. |
