Dallas Shortstop Out Saturday, May 22nd, 2032 The Dallas Texans learned that Esteban Ruíz is likely to be out for 5-6 weeks after he injured himself running the bases in today's game against the Quebec Armada. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be an intercostal strain. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Dallas manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Esteban is back in action." This year Ruíz is hitting .298 with 10 home runs. |
