Bloomington Loses Carlos Campos, Will Miss Season
Tuesday, May 4th, 2032
When Carlos Campos was hurt against the San Francisco Earthquakes, the Bloomington Blazers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 36-year-old second baseman suffered a broken kneecap colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Campos would miss 6-7 months of the season.
For the year Campos is batting .300 with 3 home runs.
