Strode Earns TML Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, May 1st, 2032 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Garry Strode, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Vancouver Pioneers closer, 28, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .314 average and walked away with the Thurman Munson League Pitcher of the Month award for April. Strode posted a 5-0 mark and a 2.75 ERA in 16 relief appearances. In 19.2 innings, he had 8 saves, 15 strikeouts, and 15 walks. |
