Thurman Munson League Names Top Player Monday, April 26th, 2032 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Shunso Fukuda for his red-hot week of hitting. The Quebec first baseman took home the trophy by splurging with 12 hits in 25 at-bats for a .480 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 8 times. Fukuda is hitting .374 this season with 8 home runs, 23 RBIs and 18 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 91 at-bats. |
