DTD Injury Puts Zabel out of Lineup Sunday, April 18th, 2032 The So Cal Republic said it will be up to right fielder Gerd Zabel whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Havana Stogies and could be missing a few games. Zabel was hurt while making a defensive play and sustained a sore elbow. Team doctors told him it could up to 3 weeks before he heals completely. In 18 games this season Zabel is batting .175 with 11 hits and 1 home run. He has scored 3 runs and driven in 4. |
