San Diego's Petit Injured, Out of Lineup Saturday, April 17th, 2032 The San Diego Hops will have to make do without Jean-Claude Petit for 6 weeks. He suffered a fractured wrist while colliding with a player at a base in the game today against the Jacksonville Jacks. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the second baseman. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." This year Petit has hit 7 home runs and posted a .417 batting average. |
