TML's Best Hurler is Kobayashi Thursday, November 20th, 2031 24-year-old Mitsunari Kobayashi of the Eureka Hornets put together a good year in 2031 for such a young player. Kobayashi was named today as the winner of the Thurman Munson League Cy Young Award. Kobayashi crafted an impressive 21-4 record and a 2.17 ERA. In 211.1 innings he allowed 159 hits, struck out 246, and walked 69. Tomás Bravo of the Mile High Mustangs finished second in voting, while Ange Schmit of the South Carolina Bombers finished third. |
