Johnson Takes RCL Cy Young Award Thursday, November 20th, 2031 The Cy Young Award for 2031 has been presented and the Roberto Clemente League winner is Tanner Johnson of So Cal. "It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Johnson. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Republic star told reporters. Johnson excelled with an impressive 22-2 record in 32 starts. In 226.1 innings he yielded 202 hits and 31 walks, while striking out 216 and compiling a fine 2.51 ERA. Joe Hardy of the Havana Stogies finished second in voting, while Masafumi Tamura of the So Cal Republic finished third. |
