Duke City Advances to ABL World Series Tuesday, November 4th, 2031 James Thompson smiled when asked to describe his feelings after being named League Pennant MVP for the Duke City Danger. "I feel like I have a new piece of hardware to put up on my mantle and a new story to tell my kids and grandchildren some day," he said with a laugh. "Overall I'm just pretty happy we won." The Danger eliminated the Brooklyn Black Knights with a 6-1 win at The Danger Zone, which wrapped up the series 4-2. For the series, Thompson had a 1.13 ERA over 16 innings pitched. He added 15 strikeouts with a 2-0 record. The Duke City Danger will play against the Georgia Grays in the next round. Georgia won their series against the San Francisco Earthquakes 4 games to 0.
