Black Knights Prevail, as Divisional Round Goes to the Wire

In what will no doubt go down as a classic ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE series for both clubs, the Brooklyn Black Knights prevailed over the Hawaii Islanders in the Divisional Round today.
With the ups and downs of the series thrilling fans on both sides, Brooklyn won the final game by a score of 4-1 and took the series 4-3.
"In the end, it's our fans who went home happy, but a series like this is good for all fans and for everyone in baseball," said Brooklyn starting pitcher Jan Shirazi, who earned series MVP honors.
Shirazi posted a 0.00 ERA on the series, throwing 14.1 innings and posting a 2-0 record.
The Brooklyn Black Knights will play against the Havana Stogies in the next round. Havana had a bye in the Divisional Round. The Divisional Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes.
