Aces Gato Suffers Setback
Saturday, October 18th, 2031
Takeshi Gato is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for bone chips in his elbow. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Aces sent the 25-year-old reliever back to the doctors for reexamination. Gato told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Gato will now miss a minimum of 2-3 months.
This season Takeshi Gato has made 5 relief appearances, saving 0. His record is 1-0 with 12 strikeouts in 19.2 innings and a 3.66 ERA.
