Another Setback For Columbus's José Gallegos
Monday, October 13th, 2031
"It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Aces clubhouse today as it was learned that closer José Gallegos will be out for an added 4-5 weeks as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for a strained hamstring will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the Columbus closer told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure José gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer.

So far this season Gallegos has 8 saves in 30 relief appearances with a 4-4 mark and 4.31 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .270 against him.
