Number 400 for Soucy Thursday, October 9th, 2031 The Maple Marauders had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 11-4 decision to Jersey. The reason -- the splendid slugger George Soucy hit his 400th career homer in today's contest at Legends Park. "I'm fortunate to be here," Soucy told the media after the game. "The Marauders have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #400 was for them." In his career Soucy has accumulated a .335 batting average with 2999 hits.
