Earthquakes Ríos Out Rest Of Season Wednesday, October 8th, 2031 San Francisco third baseman Pablo Ríos could miss the remainder of the season because of a sore shoulder. He exited yesterday's South Carolina game after injuring himself while throwing the ball. The original diagnosis said Ríos would be out 1-2 weeks. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." For the year Ríos is batting .280 with 2 home runs. |
