Kansas City Loses North for Year Friday, October 3rd, 2031 The Kansas City Tornadoes and their fans were rocked today by the news that star first baseman Oliver North would miss the rest of the season due to injury. North was hurt in a recent game against the Mile High Mustangs while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a strained oblique. His doctors think that North will miss about 4 weeks. This year North is batting .315 with no home runs. |
