Portland Clinches Wild Card Friday, October 3rd, 2031 The manager of the Portland Beavers is reminding the city of Portland to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Ryan Blandford. "We know we can get Portland rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Beavers will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said starting pitcher Félix Reina. If the team is successful, it would be the 1st ADULT BASEBALL LEAGUE championship in franchise history. |
