Sasquatch Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, October 3rd, 2031 It wasn't meant to be for the Seattle Sasquatch this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Sasquatch right fielder Joe Young. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." Seattle last appeared in the postseason in 2027. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sasquatch have missed the playoffs 9 times. |
