Thurman Munson League Names Rookie of Month Wednesday, October 1st, 2031 Jorge Hernández earned September's Rookie of the Month honors in the Thurman Munson League for last month's performance. The boyish Kansas City catcher might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Hernández hit .304 with 4 home runs, 15 RBIs and 12 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far in 2031 Hernández is batting .240 with 5 home runs, 31 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 75 hits in 313 at-bats and a .272 OBP. |
